Agape MCC is a Congregation that focuses on serving in the greater community.
Tarrant County Food Bank
Wednesday evenings Dana Small and our Back Pack Team is busily working at the Tarrant County Food Bank with volunteers from other churches and families. We pack breakfast and lunches, which are put in back packs that will be distributed to over 1,100 children to be taken home from school on Friday afternoon so that they have meals over the weekend. The volunteers work had and fast and it is a job that warms the spirit and hearts of every person who gives of their time. Contact the church at

Samaritan House Supper Club
For many years, our Samaritan House Supper Club has prepared and served dinner to about 60 residents of Samaritan House – a local residential program for persons living HIV+. Our team takes pride in providing home cooked meals with menus that the residents look forward to. We not only serve the residents – but we sit, eat and fellowship with them as part of the family. Now we have two Supper Clubs: the Second Friday Supper Club and the Fourth Friday Supper Club! If you would like to help with this important ministry, please contact Kathy atkatmunn_1@hotmail.com .
Tarrant County AIDS Interfaith Network
We support the clients of TCAIN in a variety of ways throughout the year including back to school supplies for children of the Spanish Women’s Support Group, Christmas for identified TCAIN families in need, supporting the annual World AIDS Day Service and other events through out the year. AIDS Buddy Team
We have been a buddy to Tom for over 4 years providing transportation to the grocery store, barber shop, home depot and bank and friendship to this man who lives with HIV and has no family to support him. Our team visits him twice a week. Another member works with a young woman with AIDS as a buddy and would like to have others join her team. Contact the church at

Child Protective Service – Foster Parent Program
In 2006 we joined with the Tarrant County CPS system to partner with case managers and support children within the system. We adopted 50 children for Christmas and are the Santa shoppers for their Christmas needs. We are working with case managers for needs for children in the adoption process. We are hosts to the PRIDE foster parenting classes and the next classes will be offered in January 2007. Contact the church at
